President's Message

“It is with great pleasure that we present you with The SBPWA Story. The story of how Singapore Business & Professional Women came together, leveraging on each other’s strength and talents to build the premier women’s networking association. It is a story of passion and commitment of women coming together to help each other advance in life. SBPWA is a very active and caring association. As long as the member is willing to participate, there are many opportunities. SBPWA has given me a world of experiences in a short time and these experiences are very different from a commercial job. The challenges and exposure at SBPWA has offered me different perspectives in many issues which I have taken for granted or not bothered about. It has made me a better person and given me a wide network of friends who are willing to help each other succeed. I must say I have gained experiences that money cannot buy. And as long as you are willing to participate, SBPWA has lots of opportunities for you too.

As SBPWA enters its 35th year in 2007, I would like to focus on providing more value to our members, strengthening the association as the premier club of choice and to raise our overall profile internationally. I have come up with 3 new initiatives to help our members to build their network, not only locally but internationally.

I’m very fortunate to have the assistance of a great EXCO team who are very talented and committed. I’m confident that we can and will deliver these goals with your support

Trade Mission

In order to facilitate members to market their products globally, the 1st initiative is to develop a business website to market their products and services. Members can look forward to set up their e-store on this platform.

To cultivate affiliation with established organizations so as to

•	enable members to enjoy extra benefits, facilities, and discounts.
•	widen the Association’s activity coverage
•	raise the Association’s profile

To organize trade missions by leveraging on our BPW International network so that members can widen their network overseas.
