WHO WE ARE

  • The Singapore Business and Professional Women's Association (SBPWA) is a not-for-profit business organization with ties to the Singapore Council of Women's Organization (SCWO) and the International Federation of Business and Professional Women (BPW).

  • An influential international network of business and professional women from over 100 countries in 5 continents, the International Federation of BPW has Consultative Status at ECOSOC/United Nations. Founded in 1930, BPW International develops the professional, leadership and business potential of women on all levels through our mentoring, networking, skill building and economic empowerment programs and projects around the world.

  • In line with international goals, the focus of SBPWA locally is to develop a strong community of business and professional women by providing valuable global networks and purposeful enrichment.

    This International women's month, bring a friend to this Wellness Bazaar created for women by women!  

    Come hear from Sabrina Tan - Founder & CEO of Skin Inc. Global Pte Ltd. and other speakers on how to thrive and glow from areas of health to wealth! 

    Local entrepreneurs will also be setting up booths with crafts making, essential oil, cold press juices, health screening and more! Stand a chance to win prizes from the lucky draw too!

Federation of Business and Professional Women (Singapore) visit with

President Halimah Yacob 2020

Held on 15th August 2020, the Federation of Business and Professional Women (FBPW) Singapore had a meet-and-greet session with President Halimah Yacob. This intiative was led by FBPW President, and SBPWA Education Chair, Dr Janet Sosna and attended by Presidents of the 3 Chapters, namely, Kim Underhill (Main Chapter), Helen Guo (Mandarin Chapter) and Teresa Teo Lay Yan (Third Chapter).

During the session, FBPW Exco and members presented the mission, objectives and past events of their respective clubs. Triena Ong, FBPW 2nd Vice-President, also presented the UN Sustainable Development Goals of each club, while FBPW 3rd Vice President and SBPWA 1st Vice President, Valerie Lim, shared the activities of the Young BPW.

To thank Madam President for her time, a sculpture from reknowned sculptor, Dr Elsie Yu, and member of of Business & Professional Women (Singapore) - Third  Chapter was presented during the session.

Delivered by Young BPW members, #BPWgoesdigital is a training programme for ALL BPW members regardless of age and location. The goal of these webinars is to bring the organisation fully into the Digital Age!

Our SBPWA Young BPW members, Darshini Santhanam, and Valerie Lim have presented on the topics of "Engaging Participants Online" and "The Branding of BPW".
