Who We Are   Inspiring Women of Today Established in 1972, Singapore Business and Professional Women’s Association (SBPWA) is the premier women’s networking association in Singapore. As a community formed by women for women, SBPWA recognizes the needs of the modern working women of today and continues to move in step with the changes of our society. SBPWA is a network of like-minded working women that provides business and professional women with opportunities to share and inspire one another to achieve more in their lives. Members have the opportunity to expand their networks, both professionally and socially. We learn, share and inspire one another. Through mutual support, we empower one another. The association organises regular networking sessions, talks and workshops for the personal and professional development of our members. Our activities also include a mentorship programme, an annual scholarship fundraiser and candle lighting ceremony. SBPWA is an active member of the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisation (SCWO). We are also affiliated with the International Federation of Business and Professional Women’s (IFBPWA), and serve as a platform for members to reach out into the regional and international arena.   Aims & Objectives   To promote the interests of business and professional women through networking events, seminars, talks and other activities. To enhance the professional growth of its members. To work for high standards of service in business and the professions. To stimulate and encourage in women a realization and acceptance of their responsibilities to the community - locally, nationally and internationally. To encourage women to acquire education and skills and use their professional skills to help themselves and others. To work for equal opportunities for women.
