It is a privilege to serve as President of SBPWA for the 2026–2028 term.

As I begin this journey, I do so with gratitude, to the Presidents and leaders who came before me, our past and present EXCO and subcommittee members, and all our members who have contributed their time, knowledge and support to building SBPWA over the years.

For this term, I would like our focus to be around three simple words: *Connect. Grow. Empower*

*Connect* - because I believe meaningful relationships are at the heart of a strong association. SBPWA brings together women from different professions, businesses, industries, backgrounds and generations. There is so much we can learn from and do for one another.

*Grow*  - because learning never stops. I hope we can create more opportunities for our members to exchange knowledge, develop themselves personally and professionally, find mentors and collaborators, and share their own experiences and expertise.

*Empower* - because sometimes all it takes is an opportunity, an introduction, some encouragement or someone believing in us to take that next step. I hope SBPWA can be a platform where more women feel confident to step forward, contribute and lead.

To me, an association is strongest when members do not simply belong to it, but feel that they are part of it. I therefore hope to meet and hear from more of our members and encourage greater participation - whether through our events, programmes, subcommittees, mentorship, partnerships or simply by connecting with another member.

Our community also extends beyond SBPWA. Through BPW International, we are connected to a global network of business and professional women, while through the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations (SCWO), we are part of the wider network of women’s organisations in Singapore. I hope we can continue to build on these connections and create meaningful opportunities for our members locally and internationally.

I am grateful to have the support of our EXCO and members, and I look forward to listening, learning and working alongside all of you.

For 2026–2028, my invitation to every member is simple:

Come and connect with us. Grow with us. And together, let us empower one another.
